We are a fast-growing start-up on the hunt for a Software Engineer to join the team.

The Position:

  • Analyze user requirements
  • Create innovative, scalable, fault-tolerant software solutions for our clients and customer base
  • Work closely with project managers, UX designers, other developers, systems analysts, graphic artists, and sales and marketing professionals
  • Write and test code to ensure compatibility and stability:refine and rewrite as necessary
  • Create clear technical specifications
  • Expand existing software to meet the changing needs of our key demographics
  • Help build the future of global trade software

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of experience as a web application software developer
  • Extensive front end and back end experience with modern JavaScript and JS tooling
  • JavaScript framework experience: Node.js, Express, Vue.js,React.js, Angular, etc
  • Experience with responsive CSS framework like Bootstrap or Semantic
  • SQL database experience (MySQL and/or Postgres) using ORMs
  • Experience with automated testing practices(unit/integration/end-to-end)
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Capacity to work effectively both as part of a team and individually
  • Comfortable in an agile, fast-moving development environment

Even Better:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Background in developing scalable software and systems fora rapidly growing startup
  • Experience with TypeScript and tooling
  • Developed within AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud-based environments
  • Experience and passion for Continuous Improvement andCD/DevOps
  • Contributed to Open Source projects
